Villa Aurora – Orbey (new)

Welcome to Villa Aurora, our new haven of peace in the heart of Alsace

Villa Aurora — A Finnish spirit in the heart of the Kaysersberg Valley

Guesthouse & Spa in Orbey — available also for private group stays

Welcome to Villa Aurora, an authentic Finnish house nestled in Orbey, in the heart of the Vosges mountains, just 15 minutes from the Alsace Wine Route and Kaysersberg, and 15 minutes from the mountains and Lake Lac Blanc.

Designed as a place to relax and share simple moments, Villa Aurora invites you to slow down and enjoy nature.

The house can be experienced in two ways:

As a Guesthouse & Spa, ideal for couples and travelers looking for a cosy stay with homemade breakfast and Nordic spa access (during the week and some weekends).

As a Vacation rental (on certain weekends or during holiday periods) for groups of up to 12 people.

The bedrooms, cosy and comfortable under the eaves, are perfect little retreats. But we feel that the real Villa Aurora experience happens in the shared spaces of the house and garden.

You can for example:

• relax by the wood-burning stove in the living room with a cathedral-ceiling

• enjoy the quiet reading corner upstairs

• unwind in the Nordic spa with sauna and jacuzzi, freely accessible during your stay

• find a peaceful spot in the garden by the fir trees

Villa Aurora is a simple, warm and lively place between Finland and Alsace.

Taïka - Unique nature retreat

Taïka means “magic” in Finnish.

This small and unusual cocoon, nestled in the garden of Villa Aurora, is inspired by the spirit of the Nordic North.

Rustic and cosy, it offers:

• a comfortable double bed

• a small, cosy sitting area

• eco-friendly toilet facilities

• complete immersion in nature

From the windows, you can admire the majestic fir trees at the edge of the garden and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

A simple and magical retreat for an unforgettable night under the trees, with access to the chalet’s shower as well as the Nordic spa (sauna and jacuzzi).

The Finnish chalet

Villa Aurora is an authentic Finnish wooden house, bringing a Nordic spirit to the heart of the Vosges.

Spacious and welcoming, the chalet is filled with natural light and combines modern comfort with authentic Nordic charm. It accommodates 6 people for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

The chalet – approx. 120 m²

Ground floor:

  • A large living area with cathedral ceiling, panoramic windows, dining area, and wood - burning stove
  • Underfloor heating
  • A modern, fully equipped kitchen with all necessary cookware and utensils

Upstairs

The cosy and bright guest rooms, tucked under the eaves, offer a warm and simple atmosphere with high-quality bedding for a restful night after a day in the Vosges mountains.

The names of the rooms (double or twin) come from Finnish:

AAMU – dawn

VALO – light

LUMI – snow

While the bedrooms are peaceful little retreats, the true Villa Aurora experience happens mostly in the shared spaces of the house: the living room with a wood-burning stove, the reading corner, the Nordic spa and the different spots in the garden.

There is also a shared bathroom upstairs with shower, bathtub and toilet.

Outdoors

• Jacuzzi

• Panoramic barrel sauna with nature views

• Spacious wooden terrace with outdoor furniture

The sauna and jacuzzi invite you to enjoy a true Nordic spa ritual, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking, skiing or exploring the villages of Alsace.

The large wooden dining table is ideal for sharing meals with friends or family.

Mökki - Family Suite

Mökki means “cabin” or “holiday house” in Finland — a simple and cosy place where people gather to enjoy nature and slow down.

Connected to the chalet, the independent family suite can accommodate up to 4 guests and offers the comfort of a small private guesthouse within the welcoming atmosphere of Villa Aurora.

The Suite includes:

• a double bedroom

• a cosy living room

• a small equipped kitchen

• a private bathroom

• a mezzanine with two beds

• a small terrace

The Mökki Family Suite is an ideal space for families or travellers looking for a bit more privacy while still enjoying the common areas of the chalet, as well as the nordic spa (sauna and jacuzzi).
